Well this place rocks!!!! Beautiful weather, nice cooler nights, lots of shopping but there is one thing, the FREAKIN HILLS MAN !!!!!!!!!! I have never ever ever walked up a hill this steep eva !!!

Alcatraz was excellent as well - brilliant audio tour.

Hi, I know its been awhile, having too much fun obviously.

Well Yosemite was lovely after a 7 hour drive from Vegas OMG!!!!!! And not much to look at other than desert, desert and more ummm DESERT!!!!

So I have attached a couple of shots for you, and yes the weather is GORGEOUS !!!!

OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was fantastic, other than the bumpy ride in the plane, it was just a superb experience. A 7th wonder of the world INDEED!!!!

The Sky Walk was excellent, got some fun photos to show you. Did alot of walking and climbing to get some excellent photos and the edges - are very close - nothing to stop you going over at all !!!!

Been a long day and now we must rest before dinner then a walk along the strip.

Off again to another theme park, this time Lego Land. It was fun, well for the kids !!!!!!!!!!!! Lots of smaller rides for them and some amazing lego making. They had an area which was miniature lego land cities, it was brilliant. Even had cities there from around the world and yes, our Sydney Opera House was there.

Got some amazing photos, can't post them all but I am sure the girls will show everyone when they get home.

We headed down to San Diego and let me tell you, the freeways here are massive and very confusing. Thank goodness I had a GPS or we may never have found our way. First day there we went to the Science show which I must say was the same as back home.

Then next day, off to San Diego Sea World and it was fantastic. Shamu the killer whale was unbelievable. Within the first 16 rows it is called the "Splash Zone" and the girls sat right in amongst it. They even bought themselves a rain coat (poncho style) and they got drenched. I have never seen anything like it. It was spectacular. The good thing about the whole adventure was the chance to feed and pat and interact with most of the animals. The shows were truly spectacular.

Universal Studios

After a bit of a sleep in and a yummy breakfast we headed off to Universal Studios. First ride the new Simpsons ride and it ROCKED!!!! Charli was a bit scared but ok after awhile. We did try the Haunted House but had to leave as I had 2 young ladies who were very very afraid - LOL!!!!

We went on all the attractions and had a totally excellent time. Got to see Jaws up close and personal and it rocked. Always remembered my Dad being there and was excited to do it myself and I must admit with my 2 precious girls. The nice thing was they thanked me all day for taking them.

We at at Bubba Gump and it was nice. Big Big Big meals, they are all so huge it is totally ridiculous.

Well back at the hotel and resting our feet, off to San Diego tomorrow and me driving which the kids are a bit scared of, but they will survive.

LA International Airport

The Plane Trip

Well we get to Sydney airport with plenty of time and then onboard all excited for the trip and a delay. The 4th engine didn't want to start - back to the docking bay to get the engineers to have a look at the problem. Fine by me, would rather a problem on the ground!!!!!!!!!!!!

So 2.5 hours later sitting in the plane, we are ready to go and off, off, off we go. It was a very, very and I mean VERY long trip. The girls slept well, I didn't get any sleep, was too worried about the girls being comfortable. I am TOO nice !!!

So we get to LA Internation Airport and it was warm, muggy and got my finger prints done, eye scan and then baggage claim, not all as bad as I would have thought. Our driver Darren was there to pick us up, which was fabulous. Silly me though went to get into the front seat, ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE CAR - DOH !!!!

Got to Beverley Hills, checked-in and straight to Rodeo Drive. I must admit it was nice and hell I ccouldn't afford anything, but I just imagined celebrities walking along everywhere I suppose (how silly we aren't at the movies now!!!). Did see people sitting at cafes with there dogs though!!!

Not a very big day today as I was STUFFED!!!! Had a nap whilst the girls flicked through the 30 odd chanels on TV. Went out for a nice dinner and OMG their meals are HUGE !!!! The girls had a coke each and I have never seen a glass of coke that big.

The girls say HI !!! to everyone and they are having a ball. Off to Universal Studios tomorrow so will chat to you all then.

LEAVING FOR LOS ANGELES

We are off today - yipppeeee. Finally here and the 3 of us are SO excited. Will be interesting to see what is happening in Los Angeles in regards to Michael Jackson!!!!

Going to pick up Aunty Jane to get her to drive us to the airport and then the big wait and then the plane ride. We will arrive in LA today at 9.35am then straight to Beverley Hills.

Will put up a couple of shots of us at the airport on the plane and getting there.

WHERE ARE WE GOING

Ok, well where are we are going - everywhere !!!!!!!!!

First stop Beverley Hills and seeing Rodeo Drive, Hollywood.
Next, onto Universal Studios

Next, we are driving to San Diego (hope I remember to stay on the right side of the road), going to Lego Land & San Diego Seaworld.

Next, back in the car and heading to Huntington Beach for a rest - YEH RIGHT - Taylah's birthday is the 4th JULY how CHOICE !!!!!!! There is a big parade right outside our door.

Next, flying to VEGAS !!!!!! Going to Grand Canyon and seeing a Cirque De Soleil show "Ka", then back in a car (convertible this time) and heading to Yosemite National Park, bit of down time - HELL NO, more fun!!!!

Next, driving up north to San Francisco - going to the Alcatraz - night time tour - spoookkyyy!!!!
Next, driving again down the coast, seeing the Hearst Castle (think I spelt that right) and might stop at Carmel, nothing planned so will see what happens.

Last Stop, Anaheim, 8 days - bring on Disneyland also doing a themed breakfast with the Disney characters. Also going to see the LA Dodgers in action and if we get a chance back to Universal studios.
